The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has postponed tomorrow's
elections in eight constituencies
in Bayelsa state to next week Saturday, April 18th.
According
to the states Resident Electoral Commissioner, Baritor Kpagih, the
postponement was due to insufficient supply of sensitive and non
sensitive materials from INEC headquarters in Abuja.
The Nigerian Army today has said
it has recaptured four towns from Boko Haram insurgents. The towns were named
as Yamteke, Izge, Bita and Uba in Askira Uba and Damboa Local Government Areas
of Borno State.

Usman, said troops of 3 and 7 division of the
South African footballer Richard Henyekane died in the early hours of yesterday morning Tuesday April 7th after the car he was traveling in got involved in accident in Bethlehem, a town in central South Africa. There were four passengers in the car, only Richard died. He was 31 years old.

hillside in Scotland over the weekend while making a surprise visit to see family for Easter.
The couple, who have been married for a
few months, were flying in the woman's Piper Cherokee from Dundee to

and sister in Tiree. But radar contact was lost at around 1.50pm on
