A Nigerian Man Among 5 People To Be Executed For Drugs In Indonesia

Indonesia’s Attorney General’s Office (AGO) announced the planned execution, after failing to do so by the end of last year. According to Jakarta Post, Attorney General HM Prasetyo confirmed on Thursday that five people, four men and a woman would face firing squad this Sunday.

“We have prepared everything; the firing squad, clergymen and doctors. The executions will be done simultaneously, not one by one,” he said.

New Ebola cases in the three West African countries (Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone) worst affected by the deadly outbreak of the virus are declining, weekly UN figures show.

Sierra Leone and Guinea both recorded the lowest weekly total of confirmed Ebola cases since August. Liberia, which reported no new cases on two days last week, had its lowest weekly total since June.
