The Pastor of House Hold Of God Church, Pastor Chris Okotie, yesterday while preaching in his church openly said the President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor deceived former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan to contest in the last election saying, God has said he would win the election an d he can go ahead with it. According to Okotie, the former president was not willing to re-contest, but when Oritsejafor gave him his word, he went ahead. ISIS Fighters Kill 21 Egyptians For Being Christians

A video released last night has showed how ISIS fighters murdered 21 Egyptians for being Christians. The ISIS fighters were dressed head to toe in black marching the captives, all wearing orange jumpsuits, to a beach where they were all executed.

The 21 men, murdered because of their Christian faith, can be seen being forced onto their knees (in the photo above) before they were finally beheaded by the militants standing behind them.

NDLEA Arrested Pastor For Trying To Export Drugs, Uses Church As Warehouse

Officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have apprehended the resident pastor of the Eternal Sacred Order of Cherubim and Seraphim at Agodo-Egbe, Ikotun Lagos, over unlawful attempt to export of 174 kilogrammes of narcotic drugs to South Africa, the agency said on Monday.

NDLEA said the suspect, Prophet Michael Raji was arrested following the interception of the drug at the cargo section of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) during pre-shipment examination.

“Preliminary investigation has indicated that the 60 year old suspect Michael Raji is a suspected top member of a drug syndicate operating in Nigeria, Ghana and South Africa,” NDLEA said.

Pontiff Francis meets transgender man

Pope Francis met with transgender man Diego Neria Lejárraga (pictured right) and his fiancée on Saturday January 24th at the Vatican. The Pope agreed to meet Diego after Diego wrote to him telling him about the constant discrimination he experiences in church since he converted from a woman to a man. According to Spanish newspaper, Hoy, Diego, who was labelled 'the devil’s daughter' by a priest said: “After hearing him on many occasions, I felt that he would listen to me.”

Police in Ogun State have arrested a robbery suspect, identified as So­moye, who allegedly led his gang to rob a church (names withheld) in the Ibara GRA area of Abeo­kuta of N6 million cash.

So yesterday, APC’s Vice-Presidential candidate tweeted a photo showing a tremendous huge crowd claiming it was the crowd that turned out for APC’s presidential rally in Kano, but the opposition party and observing Nigerians were quick to remind him the picture was taken at one of Reinhard Bonke's crusades.
