Al Jazeera Demands Remaining Two Jailed Journalists To Be Exonerated

Al Jazeera has said that the campaign to free its journalists in Egypt will not end till all three have been released. Peter Greste is on his way out of the country after 400 days in detention, but Baher Mohamed and Mohamed Fahmy remain behind bars. The network says that all three have to be exonerated and the convictions against its other journalists tried in absentia also have to be lifted.

The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for Lagos West Senatorial District in the forth coming elections, , Segun Adewale popularly called Aeroland has been accused of personally leading thugs to the office of Hon. 2015 Election: INEC Has Extends Deadline For Collection Of PVCs

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has extended the deadline for collection of Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) to Sunday, February 8. This supersedes the earlier deadline of Saturday, 31st January 2015, and is intended to give registered voters yet to collect their PVCs the opportunity to do so in readiness for the February 2015 general elections.
