According to Vanguard, it is now an offence in Ekiti State for places of worship like churches and mosques to compel prospective couples to take mandatory HIV/AIDS tests before joining them in marriage.

11 OAU Students Escape Death In Bus Fire
Eleven Obafemi Awolowo University students today escaped death when one of the University campus buses plying the school caught fire. The incident happened at the school gate and luckily no one was hurt. Fire fighters were also immediately called to the scene to put a stop to the fire. See another photo after the cut
INEC: Nigeria’s National Security Adviser Wants Elections Postponed
Nigeria’s national security adviser, Col. Sambo Dansuki today during a question and answer session at a conference in London suggested next month’s presidential and parliamentary elections should be postponed because not all voter cards had been distributed. Dansuki said this has been his advice to INEC, but the chairman keeps insisting everyone will have one before elections, but he doubts if that can be so. Hear him;
